Madison Unleashes New Single ‘YOUR GIRL’
“I wanted to bottle that feeling in a way that felt playful, uplifting and unapologetically pop.” That’s how MADISON describes ‘Your Girl’, her new single out 14th August, and it’s about as accurate a mission statement as you’ll get.
The London-based artist has spent her career so far in more dramatic territory, blending the emotional weight of Sia and Florence + The Machine with the scale of a film score. ‘Your Girl’ doesn’t abandon that instinct so much as redirect it. The cinematic production is still there in the strings and the layered vocal arrangements, but the mood has lifted considerably, chasing the exhilaration of a new connection rather than heartbreak.
That shift was shaped in the studio with Oliver Lundström, the Swedish producer behind hits for James Arthur, Carly Rae Jepsen and Astrid S. According to Madison, the pair tried the song in multiple different forms before finding the right balance between radio pop and orchestral ambition, eventually finishing vocals in Stockholm before completing production remotely.
Coming off nine Spotify Editorial placements, over 250,000 streams across 135 countries and vocal work on international projects for Tencent and World Expo 2025 Osaka, Madison arrives at ‘Your Girl’ with real momentum behind her. As the opening chapter of a campaign heading towards her debut EP, it’s a confident, well-judged introduction to a lighter side of her artistry.
