NEW YORK CITY, NY — September 2026 — American indie pop and country-pop singer, songwriter, and actress Kelly Padrick continues to expand her artistic world with the release of her nostalgic new EP, Butterflies, produced by Marc Copely.

Originally from Rhode Island and now based in New York City, Padrick has been composing music since the age of five. Over the years, she has developed a distinctive musical identity shaped by atmospheric, dream-pop harmonies, versatile songwriting, and an instinct for emotional storytelling.

Padrick’s music has also established a strong presence across television and film. Her songs have been featured in ABC’s Desperate Housewives, HBO’s VICE, and the Fox Searchlight film Trust the Man, demonstrating the cinematic character and broad appeal of her sound.

Visual storytelling remains an important element of Padrick’s creative work. She has collaborated extensively with filmmaker Patricia Chica, who has directed 11 of her cinematic music videos, including “Waiting for This” and the award-winning “Heavenly Ride.” The pair are continuing their creative partnership, with a video for Padrick’s song “Shine,” from Butterflies, scheduled to be filmed in Montreal in January 2027.

Released in September 2026, Butterflies marks another chapter in Padrick’s evolving musical journey. The EP follows an extensive discography that includes the albums Haze (2005), Carmine Street (2007), Hello My Love (2009), Soulmate (2011), The Kind of Girl (2013), Dear Love (2014), and It’s Only Me / On the Line (2016), alongside projects and singles including Fires, The Real Me, “I’ll Try,” and “Shine.”
