Music Times UK is proud to premiere ‘Love Street’, the joyful new disco-inspired single from New York musician Raymond Castronovo. Arriving on September 30, 2026, the release lands on a fitting date: National Love People Day, a day dedicated to kindness, connection and spreading love. It is hard to imagine a better soundtrack for the occasion.

Best known as the frontman of retro-inspired rock band Streetwise, Castronovo is now fully embracing the sound of the 1970s dance floor. Following his earlier disco-revival track, ‘The Touch’, ‘Love Street’ invites listeners to set aside cynicism, reconnect with one another and simply dance.

The song is the second single and title track from the upcoming Love Street EP, due in Spring 2027 via Streetwise Productions.

Castronovo wrote and composed the track alongside acclaimed producer and songwriter Chris Palmaro, a former member of the Saturday Night Live Band. Palmaro also produced and co-arranged the song, and together the pair assembled a truly remarkable lineup of musicians and vocalists.

The vocal team reads like a who’s who of music history. Ada Dyer has sung with Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, Lenny Kravitz, U2, Sting and Bruce Springsteen. Dennis Collins has worked with Aretha Franklin, David Bowie and Sting. Sharon Collins has performed alongside Whitney Houston, Bette Midler, Smokey Robinson and Jon Batiste, while Curtis King has shared stages and studios with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Céline Dion, Billy Joel and James Brown.

The studio band is equally impressive. Tony Kadleck and Brian Pareschi bring the trumpets, Andy Snitzer plays saxophone and Mike Davis handles trombone. On bass is Joe Martinez, who toured the world with Chubby Checker and Irene Cara. That rich brass section and live rhythm give ‘Love Street’ the authentic warmth that defined classic disco.

Behind the desk, Kevin Halpin, known for his work with Bruce Hornsby and John Denver, mixed and mastered the track, while Gordon Minnette of 3rd Circle Music engineered the recording. The vocals were captured at New York’s legendary Hit Factory Studios, where The Rolling Stones, John Lennon, Mariah Carey, Post Malone and The Weeknd have all recorded.

For Castronovo, ‘Love Street’ is both a tribute to the music that shaped him and a reminder of what disco stood for at its best: joy, freedom, movement and togetherness.

“I grew up in the ’70s and always loved the disco era,” says Castronovo. “There was something about that music that made people forget their differences, get out on the dance floor and simply enjoy being together. That positive energy is what I wanted to bring back with ‘Love Street.'”

Castronovo’s own story adds real heart to the release. Raised in Brooklyn, he found an escape in playing guitar, writing songs and performing at local venues. His talent caught the attention of a major record label, but just as he was about to sign, he learned his wife was pregnant. He chose to put his music dreams on hold to focus on his family. Thirty years later, he returned with Streetwise, releasing the debut album Crossing Bridges (2021) followed by three EPs: The Other Side (2022), The Road Ahead (2023) and Appetite for Unity (2024).

Notably, the team behind the release confirms that no AI was used to create this song, a detail that underlines the human craft and musicianship at its core.

More singles from the Love Street EP will follow in early 2027 ahead of the full release. For now, the invitation is simple: this National Love People Day, take a stroll down ‘Love Street’ and share the love.

“Love Street” music video will be coming in the not so distant future.
